I liked my blog grade but I think I could of done better. I was very organized and focused on my blogs. The content of my blogs were also good. All my pictures, music and paragraphs provided in-depth explanation of my book. I had great examples and spoke to the audience. I had very few grammar and spelling mistakes but I need to watch my sentence structure. In my second quarter blog I will be sure to watch my sentence structure and continue to do well and better than my first quater blog.
Blogging was not really my thing but it was fun blogging on the book I read in first quarter. "Leaving Paradise" was a really good book to blog on, I'm glad I chose it. The blog prompts that we had to do were really easy and I understood how to do them. So its not like I'm looking foward to doing my second quarter blog or anything because I don't know the plot of the book I'm blogging on. But I will try to have a positive attitude toward blogging and the project were doing.
The beginning of The King of the Mild Frontier started off really good. I could understand the outline of the story. I learned that Chris had a very bad anger problem and his mom always took him to the doctor but they really couldn't do anything about it. He also was a bawl baby, he cried over everything that didnt go his way. He has an older brother who gets him in trouble all the time when his parents are gone. His brother John babysits him all the time. He also has to a sister that is four years old. I think later in the story, John is finally gone get in trouble for all the things he has done to Chris.

Five Literary Elements(:
Setting: The place where the story takes place. My story takes place in a small town.
Theme: The theme is the lesson learned in the story. The theme in my story is sometimes the person you hate most ends up being the person you care for the most. Like Caleb and Maggie hated each other but towards the end they began to like each other and bond together.
Dynamic character: A dynamic character is a character that changes throughout the story. Maggie and Caleb change a lot throughout the story. At first Maggie was really sad because she was going through a lot ever since Caleb hit her by the car. She had no friends, everyone talked about her because she still walked with a limp. She still couldn't forgive Caleb for what he did. But she ended up forgiving Caleb and began to get happy. But something emotional happened at the end of the story. Caleb still had some emotional problems but he didn't show it. He acted the same while with his friends and acted like nothing happened. Leah is Caleb's sister and she was Maggie's bestfriend. But after the accident she wasnt anymore but at the end of the story they began to be friends again.
Climax: The point of the highest tension/suspense. The climax in my story was when Caleb and Maggie began to have contact with each other. They worked at the same place for the same person and began to like each other.
Tone: The tone is about the authors attitude toward the story. The authors attitude toward "Leaving Paradise" was emotional. At the begining it was sad becuase Caleb hit Maggie by the car and she was in therapy and he was in jail. But as the story went on it kept changing from sad to happy.
